Banana Nut Bread

This recipe is a family favorite. It's moist and delicious and best of all, easy!

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 teas vanilla
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
3 mashed over ripe bananas

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Mix all ingredients together. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan and cool on a wire rack. (you can also use 2 loaf pans)
