Chili Sauce

1 1/2 gal. tomatoes chopped
8 lg. onions chopped
4 lg. green peppers chopped
7 c. sugar
6 c. vinegar
2 T. salt
2 T. cayenne pepper

Drain excess liquid off tomatoes. Put all ingredients into large pot. Simmer approximately 2 hours. Stirring to keep from sticking or scorching. Drain juice off until the mixture is of desired consistancy. Spoon into hot sterilized jars and seal. Yields about 10 or 12 pints.
