This is my family's all time favorite. This recipe makes a large amount. You might want to divide and freeze half, or great for a crowd.
2 lbs ground beef
1 large chopped onion
1 chopped greeen pepper
3 pieces chopped celery
1 large can sliced mushrooms
1 pkg (16oz) med egg noodles, cooked
1 med. jar of green olives, sliced
2 sm cans tomato paste
2 sm cans tomato sauce
16 oz cubed sharp cheddar cheese (not shredded)
salt and pepper to taste
Brown, beef, onion, pepper and celery together and drain. In a large bowl combine all ingredients together. Put into 2, two quart casserole dishes or one large. Bake 350 for 30 minutes or longer if cooking large amount. If desired cover with grated cheddar cheese and return to oven until melted.
