Strawberry Pie

1 baked pie shell
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
6 teas corn starch
4 tbls strawberry jello, (1/2 box)
Fresh strawberries

Mix sugar and corn starch. Add water and cook until thick. Stir constantly. remove from heat and add Jello. Let cool and pour over fresh strawberries in pie shell. Let stand until set. Add whipped topping.
